How to get a list of businesses without a website
There is no ready-made, always-current list of businesses that have no website. Directories exist, but the answer changes daily: businesses open, close, and build sites. The practical way to get one is to look at Google Maps, where local businesses list their phone, address and website, and keep only the ones that have no website of their own.
That is what the Google Maps Leads Scraper does. You give it a trade (plumber, hair salon, restaurant) and a place, and it returns the businesses with no website, ready for a call, as JSON, CSV or Excel.
What you get for each lead
- name, category, address, phone number as shown on Google Maps, opening hours, rating and number of reviews;
- a website status: no website found, a social page only (for example Facebook), or a platform page only;
- a lead score from 0 to 100 with the reasons behind it, so you call the best prospects first;
- in France and the UK, the registered company behind the business (company number, legal form, age), matched to the official register;
- the coordinates and the Google Maps link.
Why it is more than a filter
Many businesses with a Google Maps entry without a website still own a domain, or have a site that Google Maps does not show. The Actor double-checks: it looks for registered domains at the business name and for a hidden or empty site before it calls the business a lead. Places that are read and set aside are free. It also has a monitor mode: schedule the same search weekly and get only the new businesses.
Free ways to do it, and where they stop
You can search Google Maps by hand and open each listing to check the website field. That works for ten businesses. For a city and several trades, it takes hours, and you lose track of what you already contacted. Some lead databases sell pre-built lists by city and category, usually with a subscription and with data that is not always fresh. The Actor is pay per result and runs on demand.

Excerpt of the sample record from 14 October 2026 (phone and some fields left out here).
In a sample run of 14 October 2026 for three trades in Plymouth (UK), the Actor returned 28 leads. One of them was a plumbing and heating business with no website found, a 5.0 rating from 15 reviews, matched to its registered company, with a lead score of 90. The full sample is in the example files. Phone numbers are masked in that public sample only; a real run returns them.
How to use it in three steps
- Choose trades and places: for example “plumber”, “electrician” and “Leeds, UK”.
- Run it from Apify Console, on a schedule, or with one HTTP call. A 20-lead test costs about 6 cents.
- Export the leads to CSV or Excel, or send them to your CRM through a webhook.
curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/euroscrape~google-maps-no-website-leads/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=$APIFY_TOKEN" \

Price
Pay per result, no subscription: $0.003 per run start and $0.003 per no-website lead. With the “All places” option, places that do have a website cost $0.001 each. Apify subscribers get 10 to 30 % off depending on their plan.
Frequently asked questions
Is it legal to contact these businesses? The data comes from public Google Maps listings. Rules on cold outreach differ by country and by whether you contact a company or a sole trader, so check the rules where you operate (GDPR in Europe).
Does it work outside the UK and France? Yes for the leads themselves, in any place Google Maps covers. The registered-company match is available in France and the UK.
What if a business has only a Facebook page? It is reported as a social page only, and still counts as a lead, because it has no website of its own.
Can I find businesses in French? Yes: pour une liste d’entreprises sans site internet, indiquez le métier et la ville en français, et le robot renvoie les mêmes champs, avec l’entreprise immatriculée en France.
