New businesses without a website: how to get a fresh list from the official registers
A company registered this week has no website, no agency and often no accountant yet. That makes it the best moment to contact it if you sell web design, domains, hosting, accounting or insurance. The problem is that most “businesses without a website” lists are built from Google Maps, so they show businesses that have been open for years and that every agency has already called.
The fresher source is the company registers themselves. Every new company is published there, with its name, legal form, activity and registered office. What is missing is the one thing you need: does it already have a website? That is what the No-Website Leads actor adds. It reads the new registrations, tests the domain names that can be built from each company name, reads the page that answers, and keeps only the companies with no site.
Where the data comes from
- United Kingdom: Companies House, the official register.
- France: the BODACC, the official gazette where every new company is published. The notice often gives the day the activity starts, sometimes weeks ahead.
- United States: open data of the Secretaries of State of New York, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Connecticut and Oregon, the Texas Comptroller, and new business licenses in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and Seattle.
Each lead links to its official record. Only companies are covered: no sole traders, no director names, no personal phone numbers.
Free options, and their limits
The registers are public and free. Companies House has a search page and a free API, and the French annuaire-entreprises.data.gouv.fr lets you look up any company. You can browse them by hand, but you would need to check each name for a website yourself, one by one. Lists from Google Maps tools are free or cheap, but they show established businesses. The actor does the domain check for you and filters by trade and place (restaurants in Manchester, contractors in Denver).
A real example
From a sample run on 4 October 2026: TAP WAGON LTD, a UK private limited company registered on 2 October 2026 (event catering, public houses and bars). Three domains at its name were registered, one of them created on 28 September 2026, days before the company, and no page answers there yet. That is the warm signal the actor flags with domainRecent: true: someone is about to need a website.

In that run (160 companies registered between 28 September and 2 October 2026, holding and property companies set aside), 90 had no domain at their name and 28 had a domain with no site on it. Counts change with every run. More in the full sample output.
How to use it in three steps
- Choose countries and a period: for example the US state of New York, registered in the last 7 days. Texas and Oregon publish with a delay of a few days, so go back three weeks or more.
- Filter by activity keywords, UK towns and postcodes, French departments or US cities, and choose the output:
noWebsite,noDomain, newDomainorall. - Schedule it daily with a monitor name: each run returns only the companies you have not received yet, with optional alerts to Telegram, Discord, Slack or a webhook.

Pricing
Pay per result, no subscription: $0.003 per run, $0.005 per no-website lead, $0.002 per company when you ask for every new company. Companies that already have a website, or that are skipped, cost nothing in the default mode. Prices read from the actor’s pricing file on 8 November 2026.
FAQ
Is there a list of all new LLCs? Each US state publishes its own filings, in different formats and with different delays. The actor puts the covered ones in one format.
How do you decide that a company has no website? It tests the domain names built from the company name and reads the page. When a live site on a much older domain might belong to another business with the same name, the company is set aside as unsure and is not sold as a lead.
Does it include owner names or personal phones? No. It returns the public record of a legal entity only.
Can I contact the leads? The data is public, but how you contact people is regulated (GDPR, CAN-SPAM, PECR). You are responsible for your outreach.
